  • Where can we get Besign Unique products?

Besign Unique furniture can be shipped to any location across the length and breadth of India. For international orders, customs regulations may impact delivery.

  • When will my furniture reach me?

After you place an order, we may take up to 72 hours to process it. If your product is ready, it will be dispatched within a day. For new products, dispatch will depend on the factory’s manufacturing schedule. The product page will indicate the manufacturing and shipping details.

Some other factors that may affect delivery of your furniture:

  • Transit time of cargo companies like DHL and Gati may range from 5-15 days, depending on how far you are from Jodhpur.
  • Creating your order from scratch may take 3-5 weeks. Labour holidays on festivals like Diwali, Holi and Raksha Bandhan may cause further delays.
  • Natural disasters, including COVID-19, are not in our control, and unforeseen delays caused by such events is not a delay in production.
  • The monsoon season – August-September – experiences high humidity, which affects woodwork and polishing. This may lead to a slight delay in production.
  • How much do I pay for delivery?

How much you pay for your furniture to travel from our factory to you depends on:

  • The size and bulk of your furniture, and
  • Your distance from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

While completing your order, you will be able to view the shipping charges.

  • Where is my order?

Once an order leaves our premises, it becomes the responsibility of the third-party transporter. After dispatch, our Operations team will provide you with all tracking details. You can contact the transporter or reach out to us for further assistance. You can track your order online.

  • Bulk orders

Bulk orders may be sent via a dedicated vehicle. Unloading the consignment, however, is not included in the order and needs to be requested for at an additional cost. Please feel free to contact our team for further assistance in this regard.

  • What if my furniture arrives damaged?

Despite our best efforts to avoid any damage to your furniture during transit, sometimes damages may occur. Please check your consignment and report any damages on the delivery challan at the time of delivery itself. Later claims of damage will not be considered.

Damages, once reported, can be dealt with in the following manner:

  • Minor damages like chip-offs and scratches can be rectified by your local carpenter. This will save you time and paperwork. We will bear the repair charges.
  • For any major damage, we will replace your product. Shipping charges of both return and replacement will be our responsibility.
  • Packing

Choosing the furniture that is just right for you takes considerable time and effort on your part. That is why we take great care to minimise the chances of transit damage to your furniture. Our transit damage rate is less than 0.1%, due to the stringent protocol followed by our Operations team. Thick, corrugated sheets for packing, wooden boxes whenever required, polywrap and bubble wrap to fix the furniture inside the packing, securing the packing box during transit – these are some of the precautionary measures we take to ensure that your furniture reaches you intact.

If, in spite of all these measures, your furniture gets damaged, we are just a call away.

  • Do I have to assemble the furniture?

While most of our furniture will reach you pre-assembled, some items may require basic DIY assembling.

  • What if delivery does not happen as planned?
    • Please ensure that you have provided us with the correct contact details at the time of placing the order. The logistics partner may or may not call you to confirm the delivery schedule. If you anticipate being away during the expected time of delivery, please inform us earlier so that we may plan the delivery accordingly.
    • After your order is ready for shipping, we can delay the dispatch for up to 2 weeks for your convenience. After that, a ‘Holding Cost’/ ‘Delayed Delivery Cost’ will be levied on your total order value, on a pro rata basis, at a monthly charge of 5% of your total order value plus 18% GST. This cost is also applicable for partial orders.
    • We will email a complete breakup of the charges to you. The dues have to be cleared before we can dispatch your order.
  • Other relevant information:
    • Online orders are delivered through third-party logistics partners. Their responsibility only includes safe delivery of your furniture, not its unboxing and/ or placement.
    • Before placing an order, please ensure that the furniture you have chosen will easily fit through your door with enough manoeuvring room, and will also fit in the assigned space.
    • Our delivery partner can deliver your furniture only till the ground / first floor. If you live on a higher floor, please make arrangements to carry your furniture to your house.
    • All matters relating to shipping and delivery are subject to the Jodhpur Metro jurisdiction.
